Shuts down during the start-up sequence. |
Charge the battery and wait until the charger indicates fully charged battery and try turning on the indicator again.
If the problem still occurs:
Turn on the indicator with the charger connected to the indicator. If the indicator then starts, the battery is too weak and must be replaced.
If the problem still occurs:
Check the voltage of the battery when battery charger is connected. The voltage of the battery should increase when the charger is connected.
If not, check the fuses in the indicator and replace if a fuse is blown.
If the fuses are intact and the voltage of the battery does not rise over 12VDC when charger is connected, the charger must be replaced.

| U160 |
Shuts down during the start-up sequence. |
Charge the battery and wait until the charger (or the display of the crane scale in earlier versions) indicates fully charged battery and try turning on the scale again.
If the problem still occurs:
Turn on the scale with the charger connected to the scale. If the scale then starts, the battery is too weak and must be replaced. Contact Unisystem for more information.
If the problem still occurs:
Check the voltage of the battery when battery charger is connected. The voltage of the battery should increase when the charger is connected.
If not, check the fuses in the indicator and replace if a fuse is blown.
If the fuses are intact and the voltage of the battery does not rise over 12VDC(6VDC on earlier versions) when charger is connected, the charger must be replaced. |
